Lower carb Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup Recipes

Use these lower carb condensed cream of chicken soup recipes in place of one can (10.5 ounces) of condensed cream of chicken soup in recipes. Or add 1 1/4 cups of your favorite liquid (water, milk, maybe some white wine) to reconstitute it and make 2 1/2 cups of soup to enjoy.

These recipes actually make a little less soup than the 10.5 ounce can, but close enough for casseroles. I put the serving size at 1/2 cup because that would reconstitute to 1 cup of soup. If you are using the whole recipe in a casserole, multiply the nutrition numbers by 2 1/2.

I have 2 versions of this recipe, one with corn or tapioca starch and one with xanthan gum. Both are gluten free. The version with xanthan gum is the lowest in carbs.

Condensed cream of chicken soup made with flour: 14 grams of carbs per serving.

Condensed cream of chicken soup made with cornstarch or tapioca starch: 9 grams of carbs per serving.

Gluten-free Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (corn or tapioca starch)

Condensed cream of chicken soup made with xanthan gum: 4 grams of crabs per serving.

Gluten-free Low-carb Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (xanthan gum)
